Holyrood has elected to ban any new nuclear plants North of the border citing safety concerns. "But MSPs said the lifespan of existing nuclear power stations should be extended to buy time to develop alternative, low-carbon sources of energy in the renewable sector."
Errr right. So these ageing nuclear plants which are "unsafe" should be kept running longer than intended lifespan. They must be smoking some really good sh*t. When reality collides with Scottish energy policy they're in for a shock. If it wasn't going to kill people I would find this funny.
