We need to keep the funds rolling in and thank you for all your donations to date.
As you know the LPUK has to date a policy of accepting only individual donations, however this is going to be under review at the next AGM, but currently we don't get whacking great donations from Unite, or City PLC's.
You can click on the donate button, or direct to our election fund

I know it's not my decision to make obviously, but I quite like the way UKIP handles its membership fee, i.e. it's £20 a year for most people but £10 a year for students, OAP's and those on benefits.
That actually makes a good deal of sense.
Thank you, if that was aimed at me.
Also, how about a gold membership where you have the choice to pay double if you want to - rather than having just standard membership - and there is some kind of extra quirk involved with doing that?
So in theory, using both this and the idea I mentioned earlier, somebody could be paying £40 for their membership if they choose to have gold membership.
Lots of us run small businesses, and certainly for me - that's the easiest place to make donations from. It's certainly true that there's been a few occasions over the last year that I've been unable to give LPUK resources because they would have come from a corporation rather than an individual.
That said, I'd have to check the legal situation from an accounting point of view, however the business certainly makes charitable donations.
I'd rather people on benefits use their money to feed themselves and get themselves off benefits personally. Thus I would suggest maybe an associate membership for low earners.
Pensioners can be the richest people ( theyshould be if they saved up all their lives, though with the theiving government I accept this is hard now). Thus I'd rather they took the associate membership if they truly can't afford real membership.
Everyone else should pay full wack, knowing it will help the party and get the little welcome pack as a full member.
I like the idea of gold membership, which I would reserve for regular contributors (via standing order or whatever).
