Seems dealing with a LA audience if rather different than talking to the public. A majority of the population want lower tax, less red tape, repeals of mental New Labour Laws and the restoration of liberties, radical reform of welfare, real choice in schools, troops home, etc. which should mean there's a happy hunting ground for libertarians out there. However, autistic anarcho-capitalists wedded to extreme ideological purity and Ayn Rand weirdos are not going to go down too well. Meanwhile, apologists for drinking driving will merely reinforce the idea that 'libertarianism' is just a childish attempt to philosophise being a complete arsehole.
