Whilst the Conservatives have 'Time for a change' (yawn- I can see no radical change a coming, just more of the same, Labour want a fairer Britain ( what as opposed to a vast interfering state run and financed by UNITE) and the Social Democrats want a change to a fairer Britain (puh-lease !)
The Libertarian Party has one simple message, GET OFF OUR BACKS this applies to all members of the two and a half party State.
Stop taxing us to death, stop passing laws every ten minutes creating more criminal offences, replace 'Parliamentary Democracy' with a Referenda based local democracy. Let us decide the best way to spend our money, live our lives Not you

Indeed, the Libertarian Party will say "We will get off your back"!
The Libertarian Party understands that the person best placed to make decisions about that person's life is themselves, not the State, not "religious leaders", not "community leaders", not a QANGO, not a PCT, not the LEA. None of those entities has enough information, nor has the wisdom or foresight to make the best/least-bad decisions. It is not that each person will always make the best decision, but hey, we are adults, not children.
Should a person feel a religious leader has good advice, then fine, that person can take it FOR THEMSELVES. Should a person wish to abdicate responsibility to another, for themselves, then fine, but a "leader" cannot impose it upon others, nor can one person or a majority impose their own choices or beliefs upon others against their will.
It is all about ending the monopoly, and in particular the monopoly of opinion and action.
I would even go further: It is not that we ask the State to let us decide, it is that the State did not, has not, nor should not have the authority to decide how we live our lives. We should not be asking permission from the State, just that it gets out of our way already.
That includes, all you "nudgers" out there.
The "left-liberals" won't like that.
