Alan Wallace Jury Team said...: Guthrum - he's not a Jury Team candidate. We have no candidates at this election. He did apply and got as far as being a potential candidate, but no futher. He's standing as an independent - something I thought was quite clear in the picture there. You acknowledge that yourself when you refer to him as an independent.

In fact, I can't see any reference to Jury Team in that campaign literature.

It's quite disappointing that an organisation such as the Libertarians (that I personally have a lot of time and a measure of respect for), is actually a perfect example of the "same tawdry politics" you tagged this with.; 2 May 2010 20:55

Our selection process means we put potential candidate's details onto our website and ask the public to help vet them. That's as far as Dr Hammond got.

He has no connection with Jury Team other than having joined a social media site which is open to the public.

You're angry with him for allegedly breaking election rules. Fine - do what you feel is necessary. But why have a go at Jury Team?

You're conflating two seperate issues here and it does you no credit.

I'll repeat - Dr Hammond is an Independent who has no ongoing connections with Jury Team. We have put forward no candidates and are not contesting this election either alone or in alliance with anyone else.; 4 May 2010 07:58

The Libertarian Party does not give away cans of dog food with its leaflets. Nor does it intend to start doing so to balance up the political argument
