I myself, speaking personally - no other way being available - take exception to the expression 'policy maker' when used of state functionaries, including democratically elected suit wearers and expenses takers, who produce ever more tyrannical proscriptions and prohibitions and call it law.
What next? Hitler the Great Policy Maker? Or perhaps Stalin and the Five Year Enablement Programme?
