You now need the permission of the Government to be a Libertarian
Why is it?

What does 'sufficient need for leave' mean in this context? Totally WTF moment though. What happens when you get elected anyway? Do they put all the members (who voted for you) in jail? Declare LPUK to 'not be a political party' and not allow it to run in elections?
It doesn't make sense. Well it does in terms of malice and abuse of political power - but it doesn't make sense legally to me.
It is illegal, the solicitors say in writing they represent Vince Cable I don't think they do, they also 'object' to my holdings in non EU companies !!
There will be a hearing anyway with the Judge after the 22nd November, because Bristol Court is closed next week.
As always, the very best of luck hope it works out OK. One can never tell with courts and judges these days!

Can anyone object? I've a few objections to raise viz Cameron, Miliband, Clegg and just about everyone.
What a silly little man he is.
Curious and curioser... Seems we live in a difficult time
First they came for the nationalist, but no one cared.......
If these solicitors really are acting under instructions from Vinnie the Rope, he's scored a massive own goal. People are going to ask why this "Lib" Dem bigwhig should care who runs a little-known outfit like the Libertarian Party. It just makes him look stupid and dictatorial.
It won't work anyway. Even if Andrew does end up being legally blocked from being leader of the Libertarian Party, we'll find a way round that.
